If you’re here, you may be carrying something heavy — grief, trauma, betrayal, confusion, or a sense that life no longer feels safe or steady. My first priority is that you feel seen, respected, and emotionally safe from the moment we begin.
I believe healing happens best in a space where you are not rushed, judged, pressured or smacked over the head with a Bible— but where your story is honored and validated regardless of where you have been - and at your pace.
My Broken No More Story
Broken No More is a true story of redemption.
Raised in a home marked by addiction, mental illness, abuse, fear and deep loss, I learned early that trust and love felt unsafe and unreliable. By the age of twelve, I turned to alcohol in an attempt to numb the pain, beginning a path that nearly destroyed my life, in fact, I wanted to end my life, until I experienced Jesus for the first time. I angrily said, " To hell with you God," to which He said, "To heaven with you Maryann." Have you been there too? That angry? He didn't leave me there. And that's how this counseling ministry began....
Everything changed when I encountered Jesus Christ—the true Prince and Rescuer. Through Him, I not only found healing, but also the strength to reclaim what had been stolen and walk in freedom. Because of Christ, I am broken no more.
The mission of Broken No More is to fight for the oppressed and equip individuals and families to live free, restored, and victorious in Christ.
My Heart & Purpose
My work as a counselor is deeply rooted in compassion, lived experience, and a commitment to walk alongside people during some of the most vulnerable seasons of their lives. Quitting is not an option.
I understand how trauma can quietly shape the way we think, feel, trust, and relate — often without us realizing it. My role is not to “fix” you, but to help you reconnect, regain your strength, clarity, and sense of self in a way that feels steady and empowering. For me, that was found in Christ.
My Approach
I take a gentle/yet direct collaborative approach to counseling that honors both emotional safety and personal autonomy. Sessions are client-centered, paced intentionally, and grounded in evidence-informed practices.
As a follower of Christ, I personally believe that His Word heals. It set me free and saved me, and I believe it is essential to setting others free.
However, you will never be pressured toward any belief system in my office, My priority is to meet you exactly where you are. I want you to feel safe.
